## Parallel volume rendering:

- Compute the volume rendered (stereo?) image of large, 3D data sets (e.g. 1000 x 1000 x 1000) on a parallel machine at interactive speeds (> 10 frames/sec).

## Parallel ray tracing / casting:

- Compute a realistically illuminated (stereo?) image of a 3D scene on a parallel machine fast enough to allow movement through the scene.

## Parallel visualization of time varying flow:

- Compute and visualize flow through large, 3D, time varying data sets on a parallel machine. This might include single particle flow, rakes, meshes(?), etc.
